ClinicApp LLC (“ClinicApp” or “we” or “us”) owns and operates a web-based platform at https://www.ClinicApp.com (the “Platform”) that allows patients (“Patient Clients”) and industry clients (“Industry Clients”, and together with Patient Clients, “Clients”), such as pharmaceutical companies or medical devices companies, to connect with medical doctors (“Doctors” or “you” or “your”) for consultation via the Platform. This Privacy Policy explains the kinds of information we may collect about you, and why, and how we handle that information. Your access and use of the Platform, any part thereof, or anything associated therewith, any products or services provided through the Platform or otherwise by ClinicApp and its suppliers and licensors, and any affiliated website, software or application owned or operated by ClinicApp (collectively, the “Services”) are subject to this Privacy Policy unless specifically stated otherwise. By visiting or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service located at https://www.ClinicApp.com/privacy-physicians which are incorporated into this Policy by this reference.

By accessing or using the Services, you are automatically accepting and acknowledging the most recent version of this Privacy Policy. If we make any changes to our Privacy Policy, we will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the “Last updated” date of the Privacy Policy.
We do not knowingly collect information from users of our Platform under the age of 18 and/or their internet usage, and such persons are not authorized to use the Services. If we obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 18, we will take steps to remove that user’s personal information from our databases. By accessing or using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. You also represent, by accessing or using the Services, that you are of legal age to enter into legal agreements. Users 18 years of age or older may append to their records information about family members, including those under the age of 18 years, but the Service does not collect information directly from minors.

ClinicApp collects Information to register you as a Doctor, facilitate your interactions with Clients on the Platform, process payments for the Services that you utilize and administer your account.
ClinicApp collects the information that you provide to us when you request information about our Services, sign up to receive newsletters, advisories, announcements and invitations, contact us by email and register for an account. We use this information only to respond to your comments, requests or questions and provide the Services.
When you set up an account with ClinicApp, you are creating a direct customer relationship with ClinicApp that enables you to access and/or utilize the various functions of the Platform and the Services as a Doctor. As part of that relationship, you provide information to ClinicApp, including but not limited to, your name, email address, physical address, phone number, government-issued ID number, payment card information, certain transactional information, and information about your insurance, licenses and credentials.
ClinicApp provides tools in the Platform for you to upload documents, such as your government-issued ID, your insurance information, credentials and certifications.
We may utilize your mobile phone number to provide notifications and invitations via text messages.
We utilize background local storage and session storage technologies (“Cookies”) which are downloaded or stored on your computer or other device and can betiedto information about your use of the Services (including certain third party services and features offered as part of our Services). Examples of information of this type are your IP address, the browser you are using, the operating system you are using, the pages on the website that you visit and details of your transaction activity, such as the amount, date and time for each transaction. When we use Cookies, we may use “session” Cookies that last until you close your browser or “persistent” cookies that last until you or your browser delete them. You may change your browser setting to decline the use of Cookies.

We operate social media pages on third party networks and have social media icons on our Services. When you visit or link to our social media pages, data is processed both by us and the applicable social media provider. Social media providers are unaffiliated with us, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of social media providers. Social media providers have their own terms of use and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies whenever you visit their websites or interact with their platforms.
We use the personal data we collect to provide or enhance the Services you request, including connecting you to Clients, respond to your inquiries, perform our contractual obligations, provide updates and other important information related to your activity on and with the Services, inform you of new services or changes in the Services, administer the Services, collect payments for the Services, enter into contracts for services, to fulfill legal obligations we have to governmental authorities or other third parties, and for other legitimate business purposes.
The data we collect under this Privacy Policy will be stored on our servers and other systems using a variety of technologies to encrypt and secure your information to prevent access by unauthorized parties. While we believe and intend that our information security practices reflect good practice, there is no such thing as perfect information security. As such, though our systems will be secured using industry standard or leading methods, given that frequently it is the acquisition of user credentials and devices that are the cause of security breaches, users assume the risk of security breaches and all consequences resulting from them. We retain the personal data we collect for so long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected, to perform our contractual and legal obligations and pursuant to applicable data retention policies. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, we store email addresses until the user requests to be unsubscribed.

The Services are controlled and operated from the United States. If you are an individual from the European Union, Canada or any other jurisdiction with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from United States laws, please be advised that we may store the information we collect in the United States which is not deemed an “adequate jurisdiction” by the European regulatory authorities.
The Services may contain links to other websites for your convenience or information. These websites may be operated by companies unaffiliated with ClinicApp, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites. Linked websites may have their own terms of use and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies whenever you visit the websites.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our information practices, and any such amendments shall applyto information already collected and to be collected. Your continued use of the Services after any changes to our Privacy Policy indicates your agreement with the terms of the revised Privacy Policy.
